This policy outlines the principles for processing and protecting personal data provided by Users in connection with their use of the website located at https://dataplace.ai. The Privacy Policy is a document linked to the dataplace.ai Terms of Service ("Terms"). Definitions of terms used in the Privacy Policy can be found in the Terms.
The provisions of the Terms apply accordingly. All personal data provided by Users or collected by the Service Provider is processed in accordance with applicable legal requirements, in particular, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter referred to as: GDPR).
The Controller adheres to personal data protection principles, including the implementation of appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of data processing.
1. The administrator of personal data of persons using the Services and the website located at https://dataplace.ai is the Service Provider, i.e., Placemepl sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Warsaw, ul. Grójecka 210, 02-390 Warsaw, entered into the register of entrepreneurs kept by the District Court for the capital city of Warsaw in Warsaw, 13th Commercial Division of the National Court Register, under KRS number 0000691308, NIP: 5252720311, REGON: 368092333, with a share capital of PLN 2,005,000.00.
2. Contact with the personal data Administrator can be made, in particular, via email at hello@dataplace.ai or by traditional mail to the address: Placemepl sp. z o.o., ul. Grójecka 210, 02-390 Warsaw.
1. In connection with the User's use of Dataplace.ai, the Administrator collects data to the extent necessary to provide the individual services offered. Below, we describe the detailed rules and purposes of processing personal data collected during the User's use of the Service.
2. The User cannot use the Services anonymously or under a pseudonym.
3. Providing personal data is voluntary, but failure to consent to the processing of personal data marked as mandatory in the form will prevent the Service Provider from performing the Services and fulfilling contracts.
4. If the Service Provider becomes aware that the User is using dataplace.ai in a manner inconsistent with the Terms and Conditions or applicable law (unauthorized use), the Service Provider may process the User's personal data to the extent necessary to determine the scope of their liability.
5. Using Dataplace.ai - the following personal data of the User is processed as part of using Dataplace.ai:
a) when registering for a trial account: first and last name, email address, computer IP address;
b) when entering into a contract: first and last name, email address, computer IP address, cookie data, tax identification number (NIP), EU VAT number, business address;
c) when responding to inquiries: first and last name, email address, company name, department.
d) Personal data of all persons using the Service is processed by the Administrator:
1) for the purpose of providing electronic services in terms of making content collected in Dataplace.ai available to Users – the legal basis for processing is the necessity of processing for the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR);
2) for the purpose of establishing and asserting claims or defending against claims – the legal basis for processing is the Administrator's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), consisting of the protection of their rights.
6. Contact form:
1) The Administrator provides the option to contact them using an electronic contact form. Using the form requires providing personal data necessary to establish contact with the User and respond to the inquiry. Providing data marked as mandatory is required to accept and process the inquiry, and failure to provide it makes processing impossible. Providing other data is voluntary.
2) Personal data is processed for the purpose of identifying the sender and handling their inquiry submitted via the provided form – the legal basis for processing is the necessity of processing for the performance of a service contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); for data provided optionally, the legal basis for processing is consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
7. Marketing
1) The User's personal data may also be used by the Administrator to send marketing information via email. Such actions are taken only when the User has consented to them. The User may withdraw such consent at any time.
Personal data is processed:
1) for the purpose of sending requested commercial information – the legal basis for processing, including the use of profiling, is the Administrator's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in connection with the consent given;
2) for analytical and statistical purposes – the legal basis for processing is the Administrator's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), consisting of conducting analyses of User activity in Dataplace.ai in order to improve the functionalities used.
1. The User's personal data will be processed for a period appropriate to demonstrate the proper performance of the Service. The processing period will be extended by the time necessary for the potential establishment, defense, or assertion of claims. After this period, the data will be processed only to the extent and for the time required by law.
2. In the case of marketing activities, personal data will be processed until the User objects to further processing of personal data for marketing purposes or withdraws consent to receive such messages. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing prior to the withdrawal.
As a rule, the User's personal data will be processed within the European Economic Area (EEA). However, personal data may be transferred to the Service Provider's partners who process it outside the EEA (in third countries), but only to the extent necessary in connection with the Service Provider's cooperation with these partners. In such cases, the User's personal data will be transferred to countries for which the European Commission has determined an adequate level of protection, and in the absence thereof, the security of the User's personal data is ensured by safeguards applied by the Service Provider, including standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. The User may obtain a copy of their data transferred to these countries.
Profiling is performed within dataplace.ai for marketing purposes, market research, and service improvement by analyzing User behavior within dataplace.ai to tailor services to User preferences. The result of such profiling is the delivery of individualized messages to Users regarding, among other things, tips on how to use dataplace.ai and new features and tools available within dataplace.ai, as well as the personalization of the website and dataplace.ai's communication with the User (e.g., by displaying relevant content while using the dataplace.ai website or within our communications), and the display of offers and advertisements tailored to the User's preferences and interests on dataplace.ai pages and via external websites and social media portals. The User may object to such profiling at any time by sending an email to hello@dataplace.ai.
1. The Service Provider may entrust the processing of personal data to third parties for the purpose of performing the activities indicated in the Terms and Conditions and for User support. In such cases, the recipients of the User's data are: the hosting provider for dataplace.ai, a company providing technical support for the Services (software company), an accounting firm, an online payment system provider, an email service provider, an invoice management system provider, a CRM system provider, and a law firm.
2. Personal data collected by the Service Provider may also be disclosed to: appropriate state authorities upon their request based on relevant legal provisions, or to other persons and entities in cases provided for by law.
1. The User has the right to: access their data, request its rectification, deletion, or restriction of processing, the right to data portability, and the right to object to processing based on the Administrator's legitimate interest, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority responsible for personal data protection in Poland, i.e., the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
2. To the extent that the User's data is processed based on consent, such consent may be withdrawn at any time by contacting the Administrator at hello@dataplace.ai.
dataplace.ai may store HTTP requests, which means that certain information may be saved in server log files, including the IP address of the computer from which the request originated, the User's station name (identification performed by the HTTP protocol, if possible), the system date and time of registration on the dataplace.ai site and the request arrival, the number of bytes sent by the server, the URL of the page previously visited by the User if they arrived via a link, information about the User's browser, and information about errors that occurred during the execution of the HTTP transaction. Logs may be collected as material for the proper administration of dataplace.ai. Only persons authorized to administer the IT system have access to this information. Log files may be analyzed to compile statistics on traffic on the dataplace.ai website and to identify errors. A summary of such information does not identify the User.
1. To ensure the proper functioning of dataplace.ai, the Service Provider uses cookie technology. Cookies are packets of information stored on the User's device via dataplace.ai, typically containing information consistent with the intended purpose of the file, which the User utilizes to interact with dataplace.ai.
2. dataplace.ai uses two types of cookies:
(a) session cookies, which are permanently deleted when the browser session ends;
(b) persistent cookies, which remain on the User's device after the browser session ends until they are deleted.
3. It is not possible to identify the User based on either session or persistent cookies. The cookie mechanism does not allow for the collection of any personal data.
4. dataplace.ai cookies are safe for the User's device; in particular, they do not allow viruses or other software to enter the device.
5. Files generated directly by the Service Provider cannot be read by other entities. External cookies (i.e., cookies placed by entities cooperating with the Service Provider) may be read by an external server.
6. The User may change cookie settings at any time, specifying the conditions for their storage, via their web browser settings or service configuration.
7. Primarily, the User can disable the saving of cookies on their device in accordance with the browser manufacturer's instructions, though this may result in the unavailability of some or all features.
8. The User may also delete cookies saved on their device at any time, in accordance with the browser manufacturer's instructions.
9. The Service Provider uses its own cookies for the following purposes: authenticating the User within dataplace.ai and maintaining the User's session; configuring dataplace.ai and adjusting content to the User's preferences or behavior; analyzing and researching traffic, determining click counts and navigation paths to improve the layout and organization of content on the site, determining time spent on the site, and the number and frequency of visitors to dataplace.ai, as well as displaying relevant content by external partners providing affiliate services.
10. The Service Provider uses external cookies for the following purposes: creating (anonymous) statistics to optimize the usability of Placeme and for remarketing via analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Facebook Pixel. 11. Detailed information on cookie handling is available in the settings of the web browser used by the User.
1. The Administrator reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy. Users will be informed of any changes immediately via the website https://dataplace.ai
2. Each new version of the Privacy Policy will be published with its effective date.
3. This Privacy Policy is effective as of July 17, 2025.
